About this activity
Pick-up from your hotel in Chendgu around 8:00am and drive to
Chengdu Panda Base. Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre has been constructed and imitated the pandas' natural habitat in the hope that they could have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. There you can see pandas almost in their natural environment as they have plenty of space around them. They are incredibly cute to watch. They spend most of their day eating bamboo.
After typical Chinese lunch, continue to visit
Wenshu Monastery. Wenshu Monastery is the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu, and also serves now as the home of the Buddhist Association of both Sichuan Province and Chengdu City. Cultural relics are the highlights of Wenshun Monastery.
Then move on to
Kuanzhai Alley. Kuanzhai Alley literally means "Wide and Narrow Alleys" (Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi). Here they particularly referred to the two famous lanes in Chengdu – Kuan Alley (wide lane) and Zhai Ally ( narrow Lane). Both Kuan Alley and Zhai Alley (Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi) are the gentrified ancient alleys from Qing Dynasty ( 1644 -1911 ) in Chengdu.
In the late afternoon, your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel. End this trip with full memory.
