Our driver was extremely helpful and sincere in showing us the site and went to great lengths to ensure the visit went as smoothly as possible. Hard to find this level of customer service and honesty in a place like India— and Uvamai was a real good find.
Our driver was pleasant and courteous and took us to the various parts of Mahabalipuram and the crocodile sanctuary. He also lent me his umbrella because it was so sunny outside. You have the option to hire an outside guide once you are there but I am not sure that I would recommend it.
The driver was very nice but didn't come into the hotel lobby to get us until I had the hotel call Viator to check in where he was. The guide was a very nice man but not easy to understand....therefore we could not get the most out of the places we visited.
