We had a wonderful time at the field Museum with Sue being the highlight. If you don't know, sue is the larges TRex ever found. She is mostly intact. Exhibits are easy and enjoyable to read. The food at the Café was delicious. An enjoyable day!
Amazing day spent at this awesome museum. An absolute must when in Chicago. Loved the lions of Tsavo the most and Jurassic world was incredible real life like dinosaurs. Sue is impressive. Food is not great in the cafes so take your own.
An excellent museum. I would highly recommend for families.
I would never go on a free admission for Illinois residents day......it was so packed, it was hard to see much. And all but one 3D movie was sold out, so we didn't have a choice on which one to see. The parking was an absolute mess, but there was an auto show just on the other side of Soldier Field, so we say in line just to park for over half an hour. Other than that, it's a great museum with lots to see from all around the world. Great interactive things to do as well. Just pick your day wisely!
