About this activity
Your tour guide and your private driver will wait for you at about 8:00 am in your hotel lobby and greet you with our warm little gifts. Then we will be on our way to Dazu. It takes about 2 hours to drive from downtown Chongqing to Dazu.
Then after arriving at Dazu Rock Carvings tourism center, you will start the whole day of history exploring journey. Your tour guide will accompany you to visit Baoding Hill and North Hill Rock carvings sight seeing parts and tell you the story of the past about the culture. You will strongly feel the peace among those rock carvings. You will see the graceful statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva in North Hill to feel the common Buddhist faith.
Then you will be hosted with a traditional Chinese lunch.
In the afternoon, we will go to the Dazu Rock Carvings museum to see those culture in a professional classified way. Then you can walk around to see if you need any souvenirs to purchase on your wish.
Finally we will have two options to end this trip:
1. We will be heading back to downtown Chongqing where you get picked up with the historical memory in our mind.
2. A lot of our guests would like to experience the high-speed train to other cities in China or back to Chongqing. Going to Chengdu with high-speed train is normally popular option, and it takes about one hour to arrive in Chengdu. So we can drop you at Dazu high-speed train station and help you to check in your train for free . However, the train tickets are NOT included in the fees, but you can book the train tickets through your tour guide or call us to book it for you in advance. And the pick up service after arriving destination is also upon request with service charge.
Each trip and every guest is covered with insurance and by a trip butler from our company, we care mostly about your safety.
