About this activity
• Morning around 07 A.M pick up from Colombo hotel and transfer to Udawalawe Ensure that you bring a packed breakfast with you if you are unable to have your meal at the hotel.Book a morning, evening, or entire day safari, and meet your own driver-control at Wilpattu National Park. Head inside (possess cost), board your private 4x4, and investigate the earth trails around the save, Sri Lanka'a greatest natural life haven.
Assigned as a National Wildlife Park in 1938, Wilpattu lies in the island's dry zone and comprises of characteristic villu lakes, prairies, rough outcrops, woodlands, and scour. This different territory harbors various creatures, including 31 warm blooded creatures and the primary drawcards of the subtle Sri Lankan panther, sloth bears, and elephants.
As you investigate, find out about the save's geology and species from your guide, and sweep the woods, fields, lakes, and brush. Keep your camera prepared for sightings of panthers, generally spotted close to the lakes, and sloth bears; and look for elephants, deer, jackals, wild pig, and water bison.
See, as well, for wetland fowls like garganey, spoonbills, and egrets, including transient species (November-March), and maybe spot reptiles like mugger crocodiles, screen reptiles, snakes, and the uncommon Indian star tortoise. Different species incorporate lake and delicate shelled turtles, and assortments of butterfly like the Blue Mormon and Crimson Rose.
Your safari closes when you land your 4x4 at the recreation center passageway.
