A great way to see the city. But beware, Copenhagers are experienced cyclists. Don't get in their way in the cycle lanes! Not too keen on riding fixed wheel bike. Guide was knowledgeable and nice small group. Plenty of time to stop at attractions.
My friend and I enjoyed this bike tour as a way to see different parts of the city. Our guide Martin was FULL of knowledge about the history of Copenhagen and the country and could answer any question! The bikes were comfortable and easy to use, and we didn't cycle very far before coming upon a stop, when we would leave the bikes and walk around a bit. Not difficult at all, and fairly easy use of the bike lanes. Only complaint was that we went right by the Little Mermaid statue and didn't stop at all- would be nice if a 5 minute stop could be built in for a quick picture.
We started out with bad weather but it didn’t seem to stop anyone. Our guide Crystal was fun and very informative, as well as sweet. We hit all the highlights and really enjoyed the tour.
The bike tour around Copenhagen was a terrific way to see the city. The guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour really interesting. Had a nice three hours, however, it was a bit chilly. Highly recommend this tour of Copenhagen.
This tour was an excellent way to see the city of Copenhagen. It was a small group and our guide was very knowledgeable. We came into town on a cruise and our boat got in a bit late. Then we were delayed by traffic. We called the shop to let them know we were on our way and they kindly waited for us to get there. That was greatly appreciated! There are plenty of places you can rent bikes on your own, however, the tour allows you to ride through the city and take in the sights without worrying about navigating. Your guide leads you to many different locations and photo opportunities. Along the way you learn about the history of the city and its inhabitants. I would definitely recommend the guided tour for the above reasons and for the fact that the city is fast paced and I could see how it can be overwhelming to find your own way on the bikes. In addition, there are many areas where you must get off and walk your bike. If we would not have been with a guide, we may have made the mistake of riding in no ride zones. And no one wants to be THAT tourist!
The bike tour around Copenhagen was amazing. Our tour guide, Sylvia, was very knowledgeable and informative. This was a great way to get to know the great city of Copenhagen. I strongly recommend it.
This trip was a great way to get oriented to the city in a short amount of time. We biked 8 or 9 miles over the course of 3 hours, so a very relaxed pace with lots of great local knowledge along the way.
Seeing the city by bike was fantastic!
My 5 star rating partially based upon the price paid: 5 Exceeded expectations 4 Met expectations 3 Did not meet expectations but still would have engaged with the vendor 2 Would not have engaged with the vendor but wouldnt dissuade others from doing so 1 Would not have engaged with the vendor and would not recommend others doing so either PROS Sophia had good local knowledge of the city and its history. Small group so was able to have good conversation Got a decent tour of the east end of Copenhagen and the harbor Not a strenuous ride - good for those who are not accustomed to bicycling CONS None at all - it was a good tour and expectations met SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT While it probably would have taken more time, would have enjoyed a tour of the west side of Copenhagen
Excellent tour, excellent guide, a great way to see the city.
We had 4 people in our bike group. Jessica was our tour guide, extraordinaire. She paced the ride to our ability and structured the tour as to what our interests where. Our 3 hour trip covered a lot of ground but with well spaced breaks for pointing out attractions with knowledgeable commentary and time for pictures. She also pointed out a best value canal tour, authentic Danish food restaurants, and the best breweries. She kept a close eye on us to safely take us point to point. Thank you for a fun morning. I highly recommend this tour.
