DETAILY ITINERARY:

Day 1:Dar es Salaam/Mikumi National Park

Pick up by your safari guide upon arrival at the place of staying in Dar

es Salaam and depart for Mikumi National park (5hours drive from Dar Es

Salaam), being nestled between the Uluguru Mountains to the East and the

Rift Valley Escarpments to the Southwest. As it is close to the Selous

ecosystem and therefore part of it, it benefits from the highest game

density of the entire conservation area. The Mikumi National Park

obtains a good impression of the African animal world and is definitely

suitable for a short visit.

After arrival at Mikumi National Park day game viewing drive in the

park. The park shares a common boundary with Selous Game Reserve to the

South forming a vast track of protected wilderness. Lunch will be at

Kikoboga Camp or Morongoro Town depends on traffic.

In the afternoon you will have game viewing drive in the park around the

hippo pools (Kisungura Circuit). Most animal can be seen coming down to

drink at water holes and the Hippo Pools from time to time but the stars

of the show will always be the hippos themselves and you have the

opportunity to embark on sunset game drives around the park. Dinner and

overnight will be at Bastian Camp. Meals Plan; Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Mikumi National Park--Dar-es-Salaam

After an early morning breakfast we will go for another game viewing

drive in the park, common animal to be seen are giraffes, elephants,

buffaloes, impalas, lion, elands, wildebeest, zebras and troops of

baboons entertaining to watch and are common in the park, lunch will be

at the park and after lunch continue to Dar es Salaam, where you will

arrive late afternoon and drop off at the hotel or airport. Meals Plan;
