About this activity
In the mid-afternoon, leave your centrally located Dubai hotel in an air-conditioned 4x4 driven by your guide. Then, soak up the views of the surrounding desert as you head for your quad base.
After about 45 minutes, arrive at the base and get a safety briefing and instructions on driving your quad bike. Strap on your supplied helmet and gloves, and then, when you’re ready, set off in a convoy behind your guide.
Rumble and roar over the sands to an area of trackless dunes. Then, zoom around the ever-shifting slopes and feel the sand slipping under your wheels as you tackle higher and steeper dunes — it’s a serious adrenaline rush.
Stop for photos of the sunset-washed dunes and refuel with soda and snacks. Then, after your 1-hour safari, arrive back at the quad base.
Leave your quad and drive to a camel farm for a short camel ride. Next, continue to a lamp-lit Bedouin-style camp nestled in the desert. Take a seat outdoors and enjoy a traditional Emirati welcome of Arabic coffee and dates, and the offer of an aromatic shisha (water pipe).
Stroll around to admire some intricate sand art and watch henna artists at work, perhaps getting a pattern etched on your hands or feet. Then, feast on a delicious buffet dinner of mezze, barbecued meat and desserts, washed down with soda and water. Additional drinks are available for purchase from the cash bar. See the Itinerary for a sample menu.
As you eat, enjoy live Arabic music and entertainment, including belly dancing and tanoura folk dances, with whirling dervish-style dancers performing incredible costume transformations as they twirl across the floor.
After the show, ride back to Dubai in your 4x4, where a hotel drop-off ends your experience.

This tour was enormous fun and allowed us to experience a different side of Dubai. Our guide, Waheed (I hope I've spelled that correctly) was very knowledgeable and friendly, answering any and all questions as he drove us from our hotel and he continued to ensure we were well taken care of throughout. The Quadbikes were incredibly fun and easily our favorite part. It's a "follow the leader" style jaunt, but with enough pace and dune riding to keep things interesting. Our guide also upped the difficulty of the track we took as we proved more and more proficient. The camel ride is short, but honestly, after a full hour on the quadbikes, this was welcome. If the camels are what you want most out of this tour, I'd suggest finding another, but it was a welcome addition here. The dinner was excellent and again, we were well taken care of. There was a large range to choose from in an all-you-can-eat buffet style while three different performers entertained us, finishing with a belly dancer. All in all, would absolutely recommend. Thank you Waheed!
Fantastic all in one experience. You literally get everything you could want out of a dubai desert safari, and its a 330pm pickup so you can enjoy your entire day first. First class all the way.
Excellent experience...would definitely do again!!! Our guide chocolate was a delight. An hour riding four wheelerS in the desert was a blast, and the dinner and entertainment far exceeded our expectations! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
We did not enjoy ourselves on this tour and were highly disappointed. To begin, it was raining and we should have been offered to cancel or receive a discount but instead we felt like we were being forced to go. Because it was raining, there was not quad riding or camel riding. We did in fact stop to take photos with camels but I felt bad for them, their legs were tied together and they were shivering. The ride out to the dunes was WAY too long...it just wasn't what we were expecting. There were houses and construction everywhere and we didn't feel like we were in the desert at all. When we got to the camp, it was very disorganized because of the rain, we all had to sit in a rain soaked tent yes, it was leaking and it was dark and cold. The entertainment was decent but honestly we were just too cold and wet to really enjoy it. The food was decent but again we had to walk in the rain to get the food and it was incredibly muddy and disorganized. Because there was no quad riding and/or camel riding, we felt like this was a VERY expensive 2 dinner.
