In the early morning you will depart your Dubai hotel by air-conditioned coach . Your knowledgeable and experienced guide will show you points of interest, as you head out of the city along the desert highways and into the highest mountain range in the eastern Arabian Peninsula, the Hajar Mountains.

Stop at the quaint Friday Market (open daily) to browse the rugs, earthenware and souvenirs.

Stop for lunch (not included in the price due to the selection available) at a beach-side hotel with time for a swim at the beach.

Photo-stop at the Bidya Mosque, the oldest mosque in the UAE.

Stop at the iconic Fujairah Fort, one of the oldest and largest castles in the country and visit the Fujairah Museum to see locally excavated artefacts.

Not enough tome at the Friday market. Boarder of Oman not explained. More commentary needed. Could have experienced more of the UAE. What we saw was interesting. Thought there would be a desert sunset as mentioned by guide.

I was travelling through Dubai and only had one spare day. This was the perfect way to spend it. I was picked up from my hotel on time and we rode in an air conditioned van. Our guide Mahmoud was knowledgeable and friendly. The sights were were interesting and gave us a picture of the real UAE away from the glamour of Dubai. A fun day and well worth the cost. The only thing I would warn about is that in August, when I took the tour, it was very, very hot. Be prepared to be outside and to walk a good bit n the heat. But we were given plenty of ice cold water to drink. I really enjoyed this tour.
