Legend tells that Fionn fell asleep before he got to Scotland. When he didn't arrive, the much larger Benandonner crossed the bridge looking for him. To protect Fionn, his wife Úna (Phon: oo-na) laid a blanket over Fionn and pretended he was Fionn's baby son. When Benandonner saw the size of the 'infant', he assumed that Fionn must be gigantic indeed! He fled home in terror, ripping up the Causeway in case he was followed by Fionn.

Great tour with great sights. The carrick rope bridge exciting and fun, the giants causeway absolutely stunning. Loved this tour, would go again.
Top service by the guides, top hotel, top reccommondations and beautiful nature !
Hotel accommodations were great, and the bus tour was fantastic! Very informative, with plenty of time at all the different stops. Just wish we'd had more time to explore Belfast the day we arrived. Our RailTour guide was helpful, although he showed up later than we expected. After the bus tour ended, we had to trek a few blocks to the train station with all our luggage, and expected our guide to meet us, but he didn't. We didn't know what time the train back to Dublin was, and by the time we got there after hustling straight from the bus we had missed it by a few minutes and had to wait a couple hours for the next one. More detailed info about that portion of the trip would have been helpful!
Our entire experience on the 2-Day Northern Ireland Tour from Dublin was exceptional! Traveling between Dublin and Belfast was interesting and informative, thanks to the people who accompanied us, and the Giant's Causeway was amazing!
Both are train guide, Sean, and bus driver Alan, were professional, personable, and pleasant. Our accommodations at the Europa were excellent. We really enjoyed the experience and the convenience of traveling by train and bus.
This was a great tour from beginning to end! Our guide, John, who picked us up at the train station was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and was able to give us important information about how the tour would be set up and what to expect. He made sure to help us get onto another train quickly so we could get to our hotel fast and still be in time for our own booked tickets to the Titanic museum. He went above and beyond. We also enjoyed our tour with bus drivers Paul and Paul. They kept the tour lively and fun. The sights you will see are beyond spectacular!!! I would definitely book this tour again!
