About this activity

Elena is a Romanian ex-scientist turned interior designer with an immense love for food and travel! She has visited more than 40 countries and has some fascinating stories to share. When she travels one of her favourite things is to sample the most unusual of the local foods (from snails and frog legs in France to snake in Vietnam or crocodile tails and green ants in Australia!).

Elena's mother is a great cook and she hopes to have inherited her cooking skills! Elena lives in a modern home on the shore of the Irish Sea in Skerries (a former fishing village/holiday town), with beautiful sea views and stunning sunsets! She lives with her family, partner Patrick and 7 year old daughter, Nadia, who will join the experience on days they are available.
