Powerscourt is a lovely, huge estate who’s garden was voted no.3 most beautiful in the world by National Geographic. Passengers are given about an hour and a half to explore the gardens, go for a walk, etc. There is a café, shops & toilet facilities. €10 entry which includes an audio-guide which can be programmed to multiple languages. Be sure to check out the alcove by the Lake underneath the statues of Pegasus.

Stop At: The Mill at Avoca Village, Millmount Mills, Avoca Ireland
Dating from 1723, this Avoca location is home to the handweaving mill, a large Avoca Store and Cafe and a visitor centre (admission free) which tells the story of the mill from the beginning. It produces one of the most popular brands of scarves, clothing, etc in Ireland. Quaint little café with a selection of lunch options.

Glendalough (Irish: Gleann Dá Loch, meaning "Valley of two lakes") is a glacial valley in County Wicklow, Ireland, renowned for an Early Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin. Here passengers have the opportunity to explore for an hour and a half. They can take the 1.5km walk from the visitor centre along to the lower and upper lakes. Paths are fairly well made but some patches have loose rock and may not be suitable for those who aren’t as mobile.

It was a misty day and the gardens and other scenery couldn’t have been more beautiful. Donal Floyd was the icing on the cake! What a terrific driver and guide.
