This tour lets you see the beauty of Howth from the hiking trails to the hilltops, and Wally's Irish folk tales and personality keep the tour fun throughout. The hiking trail along the cliffs are breathtaking!
The tour was absolutely breathtaking. We were able to view the beautiful countryside as well as hearing a little bit of Irish folklore along the way. We traveled thru forests and alongside the water and experienced a bit of rocky terrain. Our tour guide, Carl, was very informative and very nice and had a great sense of humor. Make sure you take a light jacket with you since it gets a bit windy as you go up and a running shoe is just fine but I would probably wear a light hiking shoe if you have them. I would definitely do this tour again. Again, Kudos to Carl!!!!
Thoroughly enjoyable day in flowering groves, through magical woods, along high cliffs. Stephen was a knowledgeable and gracious guide, and -- added delight -- kept us in the company of Shakespeare, Joyce, and Yeats. Day couldn't have been nicer.
