Malahide Castle was beautiful. I can't recall the gents name who was our tour guide - older man- but he was a wealth of information. Rode on a comfortable bus. Time allotment at both sites was perfect. In Howgh, the 1st seafood place is recommend. It was crowded and disorganized. They didn't allow carry out patrons to use outside tables. Walk a bit down to Kish Fish. Served immediately, excellent fish and chips and the scone was excellent! Maybe a bit more, but quiet with wonderful food and near the water. Howgh is beautiful and a must see!
The tour was full of good surprises and more information than I could absorb all at once. It was fun and filled with good views and commentary Loved it all!
This was a great tour. Loved Malahide and also the drive to Howth. Our guide Ciaran was knowledgeable. The scenery was awesome along the coast road to Howth and we really enjoyed our time in Howth. I would recommend Dodublin tours and this guide. Would like more choices in the visit choice as it was my daughter and myself on our trip to Ireland
This was great because we got to see the inside of the castle. It is truly one of the most beautiful castles in all of Ireland and well worth the visit.
This tour was nice. I enjoyed the castle and the marina in Howth afterward. We had time to walk around in Howth and have a nice lunch. I think I would have liked more time at the Malahide Castle to tour the gardens. There was also some confusion about the fact that our tickets to the castle did not include the gardens and there wasn't really enough time to go explore the grounds after the castle tour. We did this tour our second day in Dublin and it was a nice tour to start off with a shorter tour with a castle and marina in the same trip.
Had an amazing time, felt safe and secure the whole time while also having a blast. Great for kids, families, and solo travellers alike. Would highly recommend going into the butterfly pavilion near the castle if you have time you get in for free w your sticker from this tour and the town of Howth is sooo gorgeous and fun.
The visited locations were not very impressive - the tour of Malahide castle is actually very short and we could stay in Howt only 2 hours just enough time to eat some sea food at a local restaurant. On the other hand, the DoDublin guide Michael was very informative and funny, a real entertainer - just to prove that people always make the difference.
Great tour. Even got to see some seals in Howth.
