2-Day Kangaroo Island Food and Wine Package

Day 1

Pick up from Penneshaw Sealink Terminal/Airport where you will be greeted by Kangaroo Island Trails. The tour will commence with a drive to Pennington Bay for a photo shoot. This is a stunning beach where dolphins and sometimes whales can be spotted surfing and frolicking in the water. Bring your camera! Visit Clifford's Honey Farm and enjoy a tasting of the different varieties of honey on offer. Browse the gift shop and watch a video to learn about the history of the Ligurian Bees on Kangaroo Island. Make our way to Hannaford & Sach's for lunch and enjoy an unforgettable, once in a lifetime dining experience. Visit Stokes Bay and walk through the rocks and discover one of our pristine, unspoilt beaches. Visit Island Pure Sheep Dairy, watch the ewe's being milked and taste the various cheeses and yoghurts. Make our way to Kangaroo Island Spirits. Sample handmade Gin. Vodka and Liqueurs. Enjoy the rustic surrounds! We recommend trying their specially made Honey & Walnut Liqueur Icecream. Enjoy a wine tasting at Bay of Shoals Wines along with a cheese platter and learn about some of our local wines while taking in the breathtaking views! Be dropped off at your accommodation.

DAY 2

Stop at Island Beehive and taste their honey, browse the gift shop and taste the amazing Honey Mead if you desire. Visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus and learn how a traditional Australian bush product is made at South Australia's only commercial Eucalyptus Oil Distillery. Emu Ridge is an excellent retail outlet that offers an extensive range of local products as well as tastings for Kangaroo Island Ciders. Enjoy a tour and learn how the distillation process takes place. Make our way to Sunset Food & Wine for a 3 course lunch while taking in the spectacular views of American Beach. Enjoy local produce and relax with a glass of wine, along the way stopping at The Oyster Farm at American River. After lunch, we make our way to Dudley Wines for more wine tasting where you can spend the afternoon relaxing before we return to the Penneshaw Terminal for your ferry and coach transfer back to Adelaide.
