About this activity
Experience Kangaroo Island’s nightlife with on this 3-hour nocturnal tour. Find Tammar Wallabies, Brush-tailed Possums, Western Grey Kangaroos, and possibly other more elusive night creatures such as Boobook Owls, Stone Curlews or even an Echidna. If you chose the 3 hrs tour we will be able so see also penguins in their burrow.
Most of Kangaroo Island's wildlife can be seen either at twilight or at night therefore there is more animal activity during and after sunset when there is a drop in ambient temperature and light. With little luck you will be able to spot kangaroos grazing in open grasslands, small wallabies hidden in undergrowth or shrub lands.

Excellent tour. The guide was completely experienced in the knowledge of animals and social life of the area. He found a lot of the animals running around that night. He also took us to find the hidden penguins of the island.
