The bus trip at least gives you some insight and history of Düsseldorf, the boat trip is weak at best, boring, slow, tedious and nothing really of interest. The short trip could not have ended sooner.
This tour was amazing!
There was not a lot to see in Düsseldorf. Some of the stops you couldn't even see what was being talked about. You had to walk a few minutes to get to it. Also when there was something to see, the bus drove by it very quickly. The most ridiculous part is the 25 min pause at the Hbf.
We had a hard time in trying to be accepted for this tour. It was Sunday and the store was closed there. The driver said he could not take us on the tour because the reservation needed to be validated by the office. We made and paid for this reservation in the US. We were sent to different people and places in order to do the tour. In the end, we were able to do it but we were too tired.
Great tour with English commentary ... well planned site seeing tour and the River Trip was excellent ... highly recommended and great value for money ... would do again ..
