We came in by cruise ship and did not want the 40 people getting on and off the bus at every stop which means you see less and they have to cater to the slowest people, or the slowest shoppers; buying gifts for 50 people. If you can gather 4 or 5 like minded people this is the way to go. Our guide was Tom, he had a plan but was flexible and very knowledgeable. So within reason you could stop to shop or do more site seeing. We also got to go up a hill to the top where busses are not allowed. When you figure the per person cost, it is a great deal and a personal touch. He left us in town at our request so we could spend time at the castle. I very highly recommend Tom and Viator as I did Viator in Dublin and Invergorden and it was equally well done.
