This tour uses stories and images to help you imagine the past. Our guides carry A3-sized books with pictures selected from our own archive, and from October through to March our evening tours we use projector to show you the characters and buildings of Old Edinburgh's past. We want you to imagine Old Edinburgh as it once was.

We use our research, our images and our vivid and well-told descriptions to help you recreate the history as it was! In a span of mere two hours you’ll get a great understanding of what life (and death) used to be like in the Old Town.

Wonderful tour!! Learnt a lot about what life was in the old town, the mindset of people and how things came to be. Robert had props and everything pictures of how things would have looked and some other bit funnier props. Had some laughs witch is always nice and I left the tour with some recommendations for other thing to do witch turned out really well!!
