Car was a Mini - tour was not. Very personal, relaxed tour of the city. No hurry if you want to linger at a certain stop. Very knowledgeable, friendly guide. Roseleaf pub great for lunch.
Loved this tour. It was a nice mix of seeing sights, stopping to walk around great locations and an absolutely top rate lunch at a pub. Our driver, Rowan, was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this more!
This tour should rate among the top 10 things to do in Ediburgh. Yes, the castle is an awesome place. Yes, the Royal Mile is great. St. Giles is a must-see. But spending a half day with Andrew ought not to be missed. We saw places we wouldn't have known to visit. We only had three days to see Edinburgh before returning to London for our anniversary trip. Touring with Mini Mack Tours was perhaps our best choice of the trip.
The Mini Mack tour is the very best way to acclimate and acquaint yourself with Edinburgh, especially if you have a limited time in the city. This tour was superb. Our local and knowledgable guide, Andy picked us at our hotel and then zipped us around to some major attractions that are a must see, he also introduced us to a hidden jewel of an herbal garden in a lovely park just steps from an old 14th century pub, the Sheep Heid Inn, where the Queen had popped into on a recent trip. If we were on foot for the day we would never have been able to access as many wonderful sights or know the local lore. Andy was very affable and easily answered our questions and was open to our interests. We finished our tour with lovely a bite to eat in a local pub with a varied menu. We would highly recommend this tour, owned and operated by locals, conveying anicdotes only a local can convey, whilst tooling around in a peppy Mini Cooper! Thank you Andy!
This was a wonderful way to start our trip. We had a great overview of the city and our driver, Roen was so much fun and well informed.
