We had an amazing trip to the arctic circle. Cody safely took us through hundreds of miles of frozen tundra a long the Dawson haul road. He was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind. He picked us up right at 1:00 as scheduled. It was a bit snowy when we left the hotel. By the time we got onto the Dawson Highway, it had mostly stopped snowing. The temperature was in single digits most of the way. The stop at the Yukon River was cold and quick. However, we never felt rushed. It was fun to drive under the Alaskan pipeline. We were amazed at the changes in landscape along the way. All of which was iced in for the winter. We made it to our destination at the arctic circle. It was snowing when we arrived. Cody had hot tea and hot chocolate for us while we waited for another tour to get all their pictures taken. On the way back we stopped at the Yukon river. This time to get a noodle bowl for dinner. Back on the road, we stopped for pictures of stars. There was even a faint hint of the northern lights on the horizon. Cody had us back to the hotel just before midnight. This was a trip I always thought would be cool to take but had no idea that it would ever be possible. Thank you for an amazing tour.
