About this activity

Meet with your driver at Santa Maria Novella Square at 9:00am and start your tour and tasting experience.

The first stop is at a cheese farm in Chianti at around 9:45am. You will have a guided tour with a local expert to discover the Tuscan pecorino cheese production. After the tour, you will enjoy a cheese tasting, together with some wine and olive oil.

Around 11:00am, the driver will take you to visit two of the nicest towns of the area: Greve, in Chianti, and Montefioralle, an 11th century Castle, which is nowadays one of the most charming villages of the area.

At lunchtime, you can enjoy some Tuscan specialties, such as Tuscan appetizers, pasta with meat or mushroom sauce and biscuit with dessert wine, in a local Chianti winery.

Around 2:30pm, you will leave the Chianti Region and drive to the chocolate factory. Once there, an expert will introduce you to the chocolate production process and then you will taste some of their delicious sweet products.

You will be back in Florence at approx. 6:00pm.
