Lovely afternoon. Visited two Vineyards, the first seemed to be more of a storage area / shop than fields of vines. However the lady spoke vey well, explained the chianti Wine process, was witty and the wine tasting went well. The second vineyard was much more what I had expected. Very pretty, very Tuscan and lovely grounds and views. The small medieval fort town we also visited was very quaint - not too much to see but still a nice break between the Vineyard visits
Very fun and easy outing. Long drive out but very pretty countryside to see. Wine tastings were two stops and fun to do. Not for wine experts more for new wine enthusiasts. Would recommend.
Great tour. Beautiful scenery, great wines and specialty items. The trip to Monteriggioni was nice too. Beautiful country! Our tour good was very friendly, easy going and informative. Overall a great experience. Recommend it!
Awesome experience!! A large group, but well worth every penny!
Tour was just OK. We didn't think it was amazing but we also did not hate it. 2nd winery tasting did seem rushed and owners were only interested in selling to us vs education. Overall it was fine, but i probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
It didn't start out well, We were herded onto a huge packed bus with no leg room, which left late. I was really wishing I hadn't booked the tour. The tour guide did a great job with her commentary in several languages, but i would suggest in future she ask people to be courteous to others and not speak while she speaks, as it made it hard to hear her. However things definitely improved at the wineries. Both were well organised to cater for such large crowds and the speakers at both were funny and informative. The little town we visited was also lovely. Unfortunately we were still running late so had little time there. The bus back was even more uncomfortable as they wouldn't turn on the aircon for some reason, even though they were asked, and it was stifling. The tour wasn't expensive so overall i would say it was value for money, but I don't ever want to get back on one of those buses.
