My sister and I really enjoyed the tour. We strolled through many work shops and had the opportunity to see real artisans working on their craft and/ or an opportunity to see workshops you'd never find on your own. Definitely worth doing if you are in Florence looking for something different to do.
Even though we paid for a private tour and even though we informed the tour operator that one member of our party was disabled, the tour was fraudulent. Don't waste your time or money. The local tour operator doesn't pay attention to special requests. Instead the guide is without compassion and rude to elders. Instead of three hours, our tour was wrapped up in 90 minutes. She insisted we use a golf cart for transportation to take us to hard to get places however, the taxis were all around us. Turns out she personally had a disdain for taxis. and we were asked to pay extra (a lot!) for this convenience for our disabled parent. In fact, we saw only 2 artisans. And she simply stopped at monuments we had already seen. When we tried to address this concern directly with the company, they were dismissive.
