The highlight of Florence was seeing The David. Stunning. I had a bit of trouble booking this tour. We of course wanted to have a half-day walking tour of the city and it sounded like we would be able to see the David. but the tour only allowed the David replica. Thank God I asked before leaving, so we upgraded and someone pulled some strings to get us included on the indoor tour of the Accademia. The your and our guide was great! So a word of caution about booking the correct tour!

This was by far the best tour I have experienced in my decades of world travel, and I mean that! Julia was a fantastic guide. She wove a story and educated us in an interesting and enjoyable way. We will never stop talking about how great this tour was!

Julia was our tour guide for the entire day - she was amazing. High energy throughout and totally knew her history. She shared the information in an interesting and easy-to-understand way. She was always upbeat. I was traveling with a teenager - this tour was perfect - focusing on the most important art and details. For example, in the Uffizi, Julia spent 15 - 20 minutes on various art works through the Medici reign, explaining in detail their significance and other background stories and theories. Santa Croce tour was also fantastic - Julia gave wonderful insight on all of the well-known figures buried in the Church. Seeing the statue of David in the Academia in person was incredible. Highly recommend this tour particularly if you have limited time to visit the Florence museums and/or are traveling with a teenagers. Julia was terrific - really appreciated her passion and care that we all walked away with a positive and informative experience.

This was an excellent tour, but a lot of walking. The guides really knew what she was talking about. However, it was very difficult to find the initial location and we were needlessly forced to walk up three flights of stairs to get to it.
