Barra da Lagoa Trail (Trekking Tour)

This trekking tour will take you along the Barra da Lagoa Trail. This trail connects two beaches, and is located in the Municipal Park of Galheta, which helps preserve the mountainous area that divides Lagoa da Conceio from the open ocean. It is here that you will enjoy some of the most beautiful views on the island. Start at Barra da Lagoa and finish in Mole Beach. DIFFICULTY: duration of 4 hours and 3 km walk TOPICS COVERED: Fauna and flora, geology, ecosystems, natural and historical heritage. Archaeological sites such as polishing basin are observed. A variety of seabirds can be easily spotted.
