It was wonderful to experience the speed of the airboat. Since it was matingseason, we were lucky to see two alligators. Once thing: the soundsystem failed regularly, which was a pity, cause the things Mike (our guide) tried to tell us, were very interesting.
From the first moment when I talked to Al and he told me not to worry, he took care of everything!! Captain Jason was really fun and informative on the tour. We don’t live by water, so the Everglades were new and different for us! We saw a baby alligator and 2 big gators during the airboat portion. It was really great!
It was fun and my 12 year old son had a great time. The best part was the airboat ride and we were lucky and saw a few alligators. The alligator show was for my taste too adult oriented, lots of jokes kids might not get. The only thing I really was not happy with is the part after the show when you get a chance to look at some animals. There was only one animal to look at and it would have been great for the kids to look at some baby alligators. And if one has to pay 10 for a picture holding a little gator then give the kids at least a chance afterwards for a minute to look at the animal closer and maybe answer a few questions. That part felt so rushed and it felt it was just about making quick money. Don't forget these are for some kids and families once in a lifetime opportunities.
Very highly recommended
We had a most wonderful experience. Our pilot, Markus or Maximus or something that my daughters call Capt. Handsome, was entertaining, enthusiastic and informative. The ride was longer than expected and we got to see so much. The demonstration and little animal park with the photo added just the right touch to make it one of the highlight of our vacation. We loved it.
