Open Ocean Dolphin Swim

Explore the Dolphin Experience on Grand Bahama Island. Interact with dolphins in their natural ocean environment. This facility was the first in the world to offer this experience. Take a 20-minute boat ride through the beautiful canal systems of Grand Bahama Island or along the South Shore of the island. (depending on weather). Arrive at a natural 9-acre lagoon, Sanctuary Bay, home to fourteen Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. Meet your dolphin trainer and receive a quick orientation before heading out into the open ocean. On the ride out, watch the dolphins jump and play in the boat's wake. Enter the water, about 20-25 ft depth, and swim with them alongside you in the crystal clear water. Perform behaviors with the dolphins and ask them to turn around, speak, splash you or wave. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Approximate time in the water with dolphins - 20-25 minutes.
