Curral das Freiras extreme run

Itinerary

This 32km trail begins at Boca dos Namorados, from where we have a top view of the picturesque village, Curral das Freiras.

We go through a long technical trail that ends at Lombo Chão.

Reaching the center, we proceed through some paths til Fajã Escura and ending in a place called Relvinhas. After we continue the trail going up and down through some basalt stairs til Boca da Corrida, we'll pass by Chão dos Terreiros and Montado dos Aviceiros, on a dirt road through a single trail that lead us to Trompica forest house.

From here, we go straight to Fonte dos Burros, while contemplating the view over Serra D'Água, Paúl da Serra and Encumeada. We return to the starting point along the same path.
