Machico intermediate run

Itinerary

This is a medium level 17km run and we'll start at the sand beach of Machico, where we'll climb til Pico do Facho.

We continue through Levada do Caniçal to Boca do Risco, and climb up to Pico das Roçadas, where you can find an excellent view over the coastal cliffs of the north and Porto Santo island.

We'll start a descent to a Caniçal village through the promenade and near Ribeira do Natal we'll do a technical climb between two southern slopes. Returning to Pico do Facho, we'll do a technical descent that ends at Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Machico. After this, we return to the starting point.
