About this activity

Starting off from Camacha, where traditional wickerwork furniture is made then head up to the spectacular Pico do Areeiro. The descent is through the Ribeiro Frio verdant, where one can see the trout hatcheries.

Then it is onto Santana, where the typical thatched houses will be your company during lunchtime. On the way back, the amazing Penha d'Aguia will leave you overwhelmed. Back on the south coast, the route takes you through the town of Machico, the first capital of Madeira, where the navigators disembarked in 1420.

To finish up the day the driver will leave you at your hotel while you relax and enjoy the comfortable drive to your destination in an air-conditioned vehicle.
