Northwest Terraces and Volcanic Pools 4x4 Full Day Tour

Enjoy the best views available with a unique experience passing by the non-touristic villages. Leaving the town, your first stop is at Serra de Água village, for an experience with the amazing countryside of the Madeira.

Head through forgotten and enchanted old roads, cobblestone roads and farming forestry roads up to 1500 meters above sea level at Paul da Serra plateau. Pass by the Laurissilva forest and walk for around 15 minutes on a levada (water channel). Go all the way down to Porto Moniz to enjoy the warmth of the Madeira sea at the volcanic lava pools, or at the volcanic black sandy beach. In the afternoon, enjoy a beautiful visit to Madeira’s northwest coast with amazing views, cliffs and waterfalls.
