Private drive Off Road Experience - Santana & São Jorge - Full-Day

We'll pick-up you, and then we go straight to Faial, where the adventure will begin. On the old roads you'll see the untoutched Madeira, that remains the same.

We'll slowly climb to Cruzinhas, to enter the Laurissilva forest. It's classified as World Heritage Site by Unesco, because of its exclusiveness, most of the plants you will only find in Madeira. This is where you can fill your lungs with real, pure, unpolluted fresh air.

At the same time we'll start our off-road adventure, after a small security briefing. We'll explain to you the basics of Off-Road Driving and then you'd jump to the driver's seat.

We'll pass through Cova da Roda and go towards Santana on a path full of beauty and fun. During winter time, the road is really muddy, filled with water puddles, so fun is assured!

Still off roading we'll be heading towards Queimadas, the birth of Levada do Caldeirão Verde. Here there's a nice garden a the beginning of the Levada that we can visit.

After seeing Santana typical houses we'll go towards São Jorge where you will participate on the process of making your own Espetada, only if you want to of course. Here start's another off-road adventure.

After this we will go to Ilha where we will taste a nice Poncha to help us digest our lunch and then back to Funchal trough some old paths, where you can taste the countryside while resting from the nice day.
