Today you will discover a different side of Penang Hill. At The Habitat, you will get a chance to explore their Virgin Rainforest, Nature Walk and you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of the world's largest squirrel species - the Giant Black Squirrel (Ratufa bicolour).

We will start the journey through their Nature Trail, where you will come across numerous rest areas set in various themed gardens such as the Fern, Climber Corner, Ginger and Fragrant. Rest at our Golden Bromeliad and Orchid Pavilions and take a moment to reflect and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the rainforest. Take a seat at one of our Giant Swings and enjoy the cool breeze as you take in the breath-taking views of our Golden Valley at sunset. Discover a myriad of insects, birds, reptiles and mammals that call The Habitat home. Sample our medicinal plants and wild ginger flowers as you indulge your senses in the sights and sounds of the rainforest. After walk into the trail, continue to Canopy Walk. At the start of the Red Garden, The Habitat Canopy Walk will surely grab your attention. With multiple viewing platforms and ribbon bridges spanning approximately 230m in length, it stands at 40m above the forest floor at its highest points. The Habitat Canopy Walk is designed to bring you out into the forest and give you spectacular views of the rolling hills of Penang island towards the Andaman Sea.

After tour, you will be having your lunch at David Brown’s Restaurant offering spectacular view of every significant landmark on the Pearl of the Orient.
