About this activity

The Open Water Diver Program is a globally-recognized certification program complete with theory, skills and practise sessions in confined and open water setting. Firstly, you will receive a downloadable Open Water Theory Package via your email which you must study before being tested on your knowledge and understanding. Our fully qualified instructors will then guide you through 6 sessions of pool practise and 4 open water ocean dives from shore and the Blue Explorers’ dive boat. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a SSI Open Water diver certification allowing you to dive up to 18m all over the world. (The maximum depth for all 10- and 11-year-olds during all training dives is 12 meters.)

Pick up to and from our dive centre (our transport service includes areas from Bahia Feliz all along the cost to Taurito and Mogan. If you are staying in the north of the islands, you could easily make your own way by public transport or rental car.

Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor before if so.
