Can not recommend this tour at all. After involuntary re-booking holding a confirmed booking and an e-voucher from 3 hours mid-day tour a 2 hours late afternoon tour 5:00pm we did not spott one single Dolphin or Whale. Definitely not worth the money nor the hassle to drive von Las Palmas to Puerto Rico. Even more disappointing that the airline I am working for is using VIATOR as the tour-provider for our passengers.
My 4th trip with this boat and apart from them never having heard of Viator and having no evidence of my booking we were eventually allowed on board. They kept saying no problem, dont worry but after 5 phone calls became 10 and the queue got longer I really wished that I had entrusted my booking elsewhere. Once on board all was fab. Almost immediately I saw a green turtle as we headed out to see and left along the coastline. We met up with a few Minky whales and then a lone dolphin skimmed alongside which was beautiful. I had chosen the 3 hour tour which included a sea swim but I was the only person who took the plunge!! As ever the sea was far warmer than the hotel pools. I had raved about this excusrsion to my friend and told her that it was a 'must do' even if it was the only trip of the holiday. Apart from the fiasco at the start all met her expectations - I am currently teaching her to swim at a spritely 70 years old so hopefully next time - if we an afford it, she too will have the pleasure of a deep water dip
Wrong time of year. No possibility of whales, rough sea. I fell over and got VERY sick, By the time some dolphins were found all I saw was the insde of a plastic bag! All my own fault. Too little research beforehand. Crew were excellent and looked after a poorly old 73 man VERY well.No complaints.
We didn't spot any whales but we saw hundreds of dolphins! Don't risk getting sea sick,go to the local pharmacy and get motion sickness pills. They were inexpensive and we were all fine, unlike a lot of other people around us.
