11 Days North East To North West Motorbike Tour

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau: 180 km Homestay

8:00AM our team will come and pick you up to our garage station to take the motorbike we chose the day before and head to the northwest of Hanoi to take in fresh air through the rice field and rural villages of northern Vietnam countryside.

Day 2: Mai Chau – Son La 200Km

We leave Mai Chau on a rout which offers a lot of stops for pictures of amazing mountain view.

Day 3: Son La – Than Uyen: 180Km

After breakfast we ride along the national road No.6 to Tuan Giao and we begin a challenging ride on a steep winding road, but definitely rewarding as the rice terraces and lush forests scenery. Continuing our ride on the empty winding road until we get Than Uyen Town.

Day 4: Than Uyen – Sapa 130km

We take an exciting motorbike ride to Sapa town on smooth road through green tea fields then over O Quy Ho mountain pass the most beautiful and longest pass of Vietnam- a bridge of two provinces Lao Cai and Lai Chau. 

Day 5: Sapa – District of Bac Ha – Xi Man 160 km

After breakfast, we ride down to Lao Cai located next to the borders with China, have a short break at border before heading to Bac Ha colorful market where the ethnic groups meet every Sunday morning to trade their products.

Day 6: Xi Man – Ha Giang 150 km

Along the ride we will visit a local market in the morning, where we have the chance to meet minorities groups such as the Dzao, Nung, Flower H’mong…

We stay overnight at hotel in Ha Giang

Day 7: Ha Giang – Dong Van 150 km

On our ride we have chance to ride through the most breathtaking landscape in Vietnam as someone said that, this is a place where stone must bloom. It sounds exaggerated but totally true.It’s known for its forested limestone and granite mountains. 

Day 8: Dong Van – Province of Meo Vac town – Bao Lac 120 km

Ride over Ma Pi Leng Pass with the magnificent landscape and views of the Nho Que River.

Bao Lac town is home to the Black Lolo hilltribe who live in stilt houses in the surrounding hills.

We will be staying for the night in a hotel.

Day 9: Bao Lac – Ba Be 120 km

We will have great off-road motorbike tour with interesting ride on meandering countryside roads, picturesque riding through lush greenery, local villages to Ba Be National park. Stay overnight in traditional stilt house with Tay minority

Day 10: Ba Be (Visit and relaxed day)

Take a boat ride to enjoy the amazing scenery on Ba be lake to The Dau Dang waterfall and An Ma Temple. 

Overnight in homestay

Day 11: Ba Be – Hanoi 220 km

We’ll have an early start today as we head south back to Hanoi. We take back roads to avoid the busy traffic and to get away from the highway. Arrive Hanoi at 5:30 PM.
