3-day Mai Chau & Pu Luong Natural Reserve with round trip transfer from Hanoi

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau (B/L)

Stop At: Mai Chau Lodge, Chiềng Châu, Mai Châu District, Hoa Binh, Vietnam
Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau (L, D) 160km

07:45 – 08:15 = Pick-up at Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

10:00 = Short break in Luong Son (Outside of Hanoi).

11:45 = Visit local market of the Muong Ethnic Minority to learn about their daily life and customs; enjoy the beautiful scenery of Thung Khe Pass (One of the 10 most beautiful passes in Vietnam).

12:30 = Arrive in Mai Chau Valley for lunch. (Vegetarian is available).

13:30 – 15:30 = Visit the real local Thai traditional Stilt House before cycling to visit villages of the Thai Ethnic Minority and learn about their daily life and culture. Stop by the handcraft village to learn about weaving in traditional way and support them by buying their local products.

19:00 Enjoy the dinner, you will have a chance to Enjoy traditional dishes prepared in the style of the native Thai and watch the Thai’s traditional Dance show and drink traditional wine “ruou can”.

Day 2: MAI CHAU – PU LUONG NATURE RESERVE (B, L, D)

Stop At: Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Pho Doan, Thanh Hoa 448100 Vietnam
7:30-8:30 Breakfast time

8:30-10:30 Drive 35km to PuLuong Nature Reserve, we will stop on the way to see chopsticks factories and take photos sometimes.

10:30 – 12:30 Arrive to PuLuong Nature reserve, we will take a short break for 10 minutes before start to do trekking and explore a beautiful scenery of the mountains and stunning rice terraces

12:30 – 15:30 Enjoy Lunch in the village and take a rest before we restart trekking then drive back to Mai Chau.

19:00 Enjoy the dinner and take a comfortable sleep to recharge for the next activity in the next morning.

Day 3: Mai Chau - Hanoi (B/L)

Stop At: Mai Chau Lodge, Chiềng Châu, Mai Châu District, Hoa Binh, Vietnam
Mai Chau - Explore the more remote rural villages (B, L)

07:30 Breakfast time

08:30 Go with a local Thai tour guide, we will be cycling for 2km before start the trek to visit more remote rural villages: Na Meo, Na Mo and Xam Pa villages to see the rice terraces and understand more about their culture and customs

12:00 Back to the homestay, check-outand go for lunch

13:00 Free time for shopping and relaxing.

15:30 Get on the van/bus to drive back to Hanoi.

19:00 Arrive in Hanoi Old quarter. Drop you off at your hotel

7:30–8:00 Drop off at the guest’s hotel.
