3 days Discover NinhBinh cycles tour

Day 1: Hanoi – NinhBinh – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc(-/L/D)

Early in the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. It takes a 2½ hour drive to reach the rural town of Ninh Binh. Not overflowing with alluring sites, the town of Ninh Binh itself serves as a perfect destination to venture out on small day trips. Once reaching Ninh Binh, you will discuss the activities during the day whilst enjoying a cool drink

After that, you will depart to Tam Coc by car. Ninh Binh’s rice fields become other-worldly in the Tam Coc (Three Caves) area. With Ha Long type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside sights, like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc is often referred to as “Ha Long among the rice paddies”. There, you will get on boat to and through the caves, go through magnificent cliffs, Lilliputian villages, and sole farming communities.

After having lunch, you will prepare your bicycles for your cycle tour of Hoa Lu. You will experience a round trip of 24km of the bicycle tour to go through stunning scenery of quaint rural villages, karsts mountains and rice fields. Getting out of the restaurant, you will pass glowing lime kilns fed by the mining of the lime stone mountains.

On completion of the cycle tour, you will return to your hotel and have a chance to refresh with a cool drink. Don’t miss a chance to go to Ninh Binh’s local markets where you will see typical Vietnamese trading without the tourists

Day 2: NinhBinh- Phat Diem/ KenhGa- Cuc Phuong National Park (B/L/

Day 3: Cuc Phuong National Park – Ninh Binh - Hanoi (B/L/-)

After having breakfast, you will drive to the “Prehistoric Man’s Cave” where locals still pay homage to prehistoric artifacts found in this cave. You will see the two new discovered ancient tombs along with Neolithic remains and evidence of stone implements. There have been similar findings in the Trang Khuyet (Crescent Moon), Thanh Minh, and Con Mong Caves. Hang Dan Cave is well-known for its bat population.

Driving back to Ninh Binh, you will return through the magnificent scenery of Hoa Lu. Arriving in Ninh Binh you can enjoy lunch at a fine local restaurant (own account). After having lunch, your private transport will be waiting for your return drive to Hanoi. Arriving in Hanoi, you will end this tour with a drop-off at your hotel at around 18.00.
