Day 1: Take night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai
Pass By: Vietnam Open Tour, 9 Hàng Hương, Hàng Mã, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội 100000, Vietnam
We offer pick up in Old Quarter of Hanoi around 20:30. otherwise pick up at Vietnam OpenTour office around 20:30
We transfer you to Tran Quy Cap train station to take night train to Lao Cai.
No meals included on this day.
Accommodation included: Overnight on Night train
Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van
Stop At: Sapa Market, Dien Bien Phu Road, Sapa Vietnam
6:30am Pick up at Lao Cai station transfer to Sapa for breakfast and check-in hotel (if available).
After having Breakfast, R&R, you will start 12 km of trekking, visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority. after lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay overnight in a local family. Here you have opportunity to experience their daily life, work and original custom.
Home-stay at the Dzay local house.

Day 3: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Hau Thao - Sapa - Overnight train to Hanoi
Stop At: Sapa Market, Dien Bien Phu Road, Sapa Vietnam
Breakfast before start tour with 08 km walking to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the Car to return to Sapa by bus.
you will enjoy a free walk around this charming town, paying visit to Sapa market and the old cathedral where you can meet a lot of local ethnic minority peoples such as Black H’mong and Red Zao wearing their traditional colorful dresses selling their farming and gathering products and handicrafts for souvenir
17:00 our mini bus take you back Lao Cai station. Having Dinner, check in on train.
Overnight on train.
Arrive Hanoi Train station next morning. Tour finish

- Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
- Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy & drizzle in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sunglasses, suncream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australian Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
- You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
