4 Day Ha Giang Loop - Dong Van Geopark From Ha Noi and Return

Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Noi City - Ha Giang City - Heaven Gate - Lung Khuy Cave - Nam Dam Village

Stop At: Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Tam Son Town, Quan Ba 310000 Vietnam
Ha Noi – Ha giang City by Limousine Van (Pick up at your Hotel at 6:30a.m)

The van from Ha Noi will take around 6 hours, you will then have lunch before beginning the tour at 2pm.

Ha Giang City – Heaven Gate – Tam Son – Lung Khuy Cave – Nam Dam Village.

During your first day, you will see a big change in the scenery when you drive into the mountains, before the town of Tam Son.

Just after passing the town of Tam Son you will be stopping at the Lung Khuy Cave. This cave is about 300m in length and was discovered in 2015. There is a short walk towards the cave which will show you some beautiful views of the countryside. In the cave you can see a lot of millions years old magnificent stalactite structures.

The drive continues towards the village of Nam Dam, where you will spend the night. You can enjoy the Village and relax before the next day full of adventures.

Day 2: Nam Dam village – Yên Minh – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van Town

Stop At: Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, Sa Phin, Ha Giang 310000 Vietnam
On the second day the road takes you through the Karst Geopark. The Dong Van Karst Plateau is a major geoheritage sight in Vietnam.

You will see a lot of rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks and magnifiscent views. There you will be able to catch a glimpse of life on the countryside. The driver can also take you to the Chinese border and the famous northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam. Your last stop will be Dong Van.

Day 3: Dong Van Town –Ma Pi Leng Pass- Sky Path – Meo Vac – Du Gia Village

Stop At: Ma Pi Leng Pass, road from Dong Van to Meo Vac, Dong Van Vietnam
To start this third day you will stop at the famous Ma Pi Leng pass and will get the chance to trek to the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que river.

Back on the road you will go through many different villages such as Lung Ho, Mau Due and Meo Vac.

Finally, you will finish your day in Du Gia village, where you will spend a night in a homestay located in the middle of dreamly green rice fields.

Day 4: Du Già Village – Lùng Tám village – Ha Giang City - Ha Noi

Stop At: Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Tam Son Town, Quan Ba 310000 Vietnam
On this last day you will stop at Lùng Tám village where Mong ethnies live. The village has a traditionnal craft of brocade weaving. During this four days tour you will see many different minorities, and learn more about their traditional lifestyle.

You will be impressed along the way by all aspects of the trip, the stunning views, fascinating countrylife and beautiful cultures.

The whole trip is an immensely rewarding experience and will give you life-long memories.

You will arrive back in Ha Giang city around 3pm. Here you can relax and take a shower. You will then get the VIP Limousine van back to Ha Noi around 4pm.
