4-Day Viet Hai Village Bungalow Experience from Hanoi Including Overnight Stay on Junk Boat

Day 1: Hanoi to Halong (L,D)

The local tour guide will pick you up from your hotel between 8-8:30am, then you will begin your 3.5-hour bus transfer from Hanoi to Ha Long City. Arrive in Ha Long at approximately 12:15pm, where you will enjoy welcome drinks, cruise briefings, and check-into your traditionally styled cabin on the Halong Imperial junk.

Delight in a traditional lunch until you reach Sung Sot Cave where you will explore the stalactites in numerous attractive forms and shapes. Kayak along the river as the sun begins to set or even swim in the bay. A delectable seafood dinner will be served before you participate in squid fishing and karaoke.

Day 2: Halong to Lan Ha Bay and Whisper of Nature Bungalow (B,L,D)

Breakfast, tea, and coffee will be served around 7:45 am. At 8:30am, transfer boats and begin cruising towards Lan Ha Bay where you may enjoy a free and easy swim. Break for lunch, then disembark at Viet Hai Harbor, cycling 5 km through jungles to the Whisper of Nature Bungalow, Viet Hai Village. Take a short trek inside of Cat Ba National Park to Bat Cave, then head back to check into your bungalow.

Day 3: Viet Hai Village (B,L,D)

Enjoy a full-day of leisure in the bungalow as private bicycles are arranged for you. Feel free to walk or cycle around the village to learn more about the locals and their daily lives.

Day 4: Viet Hai Village to Halong and Hanoi (B,L)

Wake up early to see the sunrise over the calm water of Lan Ha bay. After breakfast at 7:30am, you will check out and cycle back to Viet Hai harbour. The boat will sail you back to the Ha Long harbor through the symbols of the bay such as Burning Incense islet or Rocky Dog islet. Lunch is served on board or at local restaurant in Halong City before you board the bus and return to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at approximately 5:00pm, then a drive will bring you back to your Hanoi Old Quarter hotel.
