About this activity
The beginning destination is West Lake, known as the biggest lake in Hanoi; it is a perfect place for a romantic date, walking, photograph or just for fresh air, beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere there. Many people come to West Lake to relax, sit and just look around. Choosing a café with a good view, enjoying the atmosphere is often the way people do to run away from the chaos of Hanoi. The lotus flowers on West Lake bloom for three months every year, in the late May or early June. With its beauty in both appearance and smell, lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. Locals even built a Buddhist pagoda named Kim Lien (Golden Lotus) in honour of this flower.
Then you are taken to visit Long Bien Bridge, the most special bridge with unique historical, architectural, and cultural value among five bridge crossing Red River. Red river and Long Bien Bridge are seen as the symbol of courageous capital in wars. Long Bien – the oldest bridge in Hanoi is still living and sharing the daily life with Hanoians silently. You will have a chance to take a walk on Long Bien Bridge for sight seeing, feeling the daily life of Hanoians, and enjoying peaceful moments at the present but not forgetting
memorable past.
On the way coming back, you will have chance to enjoy traditional foods in Street Markets and Food Stalls in Hanoi Old Quarter. In true Hanoian fashion, the food of the north is at its best and it is best at night. The variety and volume of food will thrust you into a gastronomic adventure with no end in sight. You can choose among three light dinner dishes, from the extremely popular "Phở" (Noodle soup), “Bún chả” (grilled pork vermicelli soup) and lastly, our personal favorite "Bún Bò" (Beef rice vermicelli soup).
Then continue on to ride around the city and pass by many fascinating places such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Cathedral, Opera House, French Quarter. Take a number of short stops to take photos. On the back of your motorbike, in open air, your senses will be on overdrive as the sights and the amazing smells that will make this adventure an unforgettable experience. The city takes on a totally different personality at night. Small alleyways light up and places you did not even realize existed during the daytime come to life at night. The Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake are like a movie set in a never ending story.
