Night Foodie Tour of Hanoi

At 5:30pm, you will be picked up from your hotel, then driven to the meeting point. A professional, English-speaking, tour guide will meet you at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre starting your culinary adventure. 

At the first stop, you will enjoy “nem rán” (spring roll). This delicious dish was voted as one of top ten greatest street foods in Hanoi for tourists to enjoy. After that, head straight to the street which is famous for “xoi” (steamed sticky rice). Coming here you will not only have a chance to enjoy wonderful local foods but also get instruction from your tour guide about the ingredients and process to make this tasty local dish.

You will continue on to explore the street culinary world in Hanoi by walking to Ma May Street to visit a traditional Vietnamese house, dubbed “Heritage House”. Here you will see the typical architecture and design of a Vietnamese house of the 1900s, and enjoy “nom bo kho” (dry beef salad), a very tasty and favorite food of the Hanoian.

At Bach Ma Temple, you will learn about the culture and history of the Vietnamese, and then go to Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street to learn how traditional medicine was made and used there. Here, you can enjoy the stuffed pancake “pho cuon,” One of top ten local foods of Hanoi which any tourist should must try once when visiting this city. 

The last taste of Hanoi local food offered to you will be the famous Vietnamese coffee “egg coffee," then at approximately 9pm, you will walk back to the meeting place, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
