Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Hai Phong - Ha Long Bay - Lan Ha Bay (lunch/dinner)

Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba Vietnam
On the first day you have the option to get picked up from Hanoi old quarter between 9:00 and 9:30 AM (optional). Head on the new national highway 5B from Hanoi capital to Cat Hai Island. At 11:45 AM, you arrive at Got Pier, where you will be offered tea, lemon juice or purified bottled water before transferring to your La Pinta Cruise at 12:00 PM. On-board, enjoy a welcome drink then receive a cruise briefing and safety instructions before check-in. At 12:30 PM, savor a delicious lunch at the restaurant while enjoying the beauty of the canals and islets such as Da Chong, Con Vit and Gia Luan.

At 2:15 PM progress to Trung Trang cave by bus on Cat Ba island which is located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest around the cave. Trung Trang Valley is the largest one in Cat Ba Island. The cave was formed by nature for more than 2000 years. The cave has many stalactites that take on various shapes that will awe and inspire visitors to use their imagination. After Trung Trang Cave. Take a short trek at the entrance of Cat Ba National Park in order to know more about the typical creation of the tropical forest. Between 5:00 PM and 5:45 PM, join the on-board chefs for a cooking show where you can learn how to make some traditional Vietnamese dishes. You are also welcome to take part in a special activity or any activity of your choice. At 7:30 PM dinner is served on-board. After finishing dinner, view the bay at night up on the top deck, relax with romantic music, enjoy drinks from the bar while watching a Vietnam special Top Gear - a TV series by the BBC or try your luck at squid fishing. You could also grab some drinks and relax outside on your private cabin balcony.

Day 2: Ha Long Bay - Lan Ha Bay - Viet Hai Village (breakfast/lunch/dinner)

Stop At: Viet Hai Village, 02 Lang Viet Hai Catba Island, Cat Ba 180000 Vietnam
At 7:15 AM, enjoy a light buffet breakfast served on-board. At 8:15, start your excursion with a boat trip to Lan Ha Bay for sightseeing. At 9:30 AM, the boat docks at Viet Hai pier. Here, passengers can choose bicycles or electric cars to travel 3.5 km into the village. Viet Hai Village is in a valley within Cat Ba National Reserve. You can either take photos or videos, walk in the old houses or meet village folks and observe the local daily life. In summer, discover the beautiful rice field, in winter time you may do some trekking on the lime stone cliffs and mountains. At 11:30 AM, a local lunch is served with fresh seafood and local foods.

At 1:00 PM, enjoy a ride back to Viet Hai pier where your boat takes you to Van Boi - a small beach nearby. Here, you can do some kayaking or swimming. At 3:30 PM, get back onto the day trip boat to transfer back to the cruise. Back on-board enjoy free time to relax, join a cooking class or take part in a special activity on the sundeck. Enjoy an on-board dinner at 7:30 PM. After finishing dinner, you can enjoy another evening full of activities or relax in your cabin.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi (breakfast/brunch)

Stop At: Halong Bay Vietnam
Wake up at 6:00 AM inhale the fresh air, watch the sunrise on the horizon and admire the breathtaking seascape. At 6:30 AM, travel 10 minutes to a nearby fishing area. Here, observe a man and woman in classic fishing costumes and take photos or videos of this performance or of the lime stone islets on the bay. At 7:15 AM, enjoy a light buffet breakfast before transferring to the dark and bright cave at 8:00 AM. On arrival, explore the lovely cave in a bamboo boat. At 8:45 AM, head back onto the cruise and join the special activity or any activity of your choice. At 9:15 AM, pack and check out before enjoying a farewell brunch, served at the restaurant at 9:45 AM. You will travel back to Got Pier where you will disembark and say goodbye at 12:00 PM. You can then enjoy an optional transfer back to Hanoi. At 2:30 PM you will arrive in Hanoi old quarter and be dropped off at your hotel.
