Day 1: From China border to the remote area of Sapa valley (-,L,D)
You will later leave Lao Cai for a drive to Ta Thang, inhabited by Tay minority, where the trek starts. The trek will be mostly uphill and you will have an opportunity to enjoy beautiful view over a green valley lying along the Red River. After lunch in Nam Ket you will continue your trek toward the Red Dao village of Sin Chai. You are now in a fabulously mountainous area, the most remote part of Sapa. The trails lead you through small minority villages and bamboo forests. Red Dao minority are the major group in the area. You will arrive at Sin Chai village late in the afternoon, where you will stay tonight in a homestay. Here you will be attracted by the wonderful hospitable atmosphere of the Red Dao.

Day 2: Trekking through villages and valleys to Nam Cang Riverside Lodge (B,L,D)
You wake up in the sound of nature. Saying goodbye to the friendly villagers, you commence the trek by following a trail running in the bottom of the valley to Thanh Phu village. On the way, you will enjoy the stunning view of endless rice terraces. You will arrive in the Nam Nhiu village just before noon, and if it is a class day, you will visit a small school where you are welcomed by the little shying boys and girls with their eyes wide open as they are not yet familiar with visitors. The trek in the afternoon is a little bit more challenges with more ascending. A hard ascent will bring you to Nam Than village, the only village in Sapa located by Blue H’mong minority. In the late afternoon, you will eventually arrive at Nam Cang village, inhabited by the Red Dao minority. It is time to stretch your legs at the relaxing Nam Cang Riverside Lodge before enjoying your well prepared dinner. You will stay overnight in you private cabin in the Lodge.

Day 3: Trekking along rivers and remote hillsides (B,L,-)
You will wake up to the sound of the river and maybe happy minority kids swimming near the lodge. And maybe you would like your breakfast served at the big river front terrace and a beautiful morning view? Today your hike will take you higher up in the mountains, the trails are only used by local farmers and you will need to cross a few rivers before visiting a very remote Red Dao village of Nam Ngan. Now the trail will decent into a bigger path and soon you will be in My Son, the village of one of the smallest tribes in this area, the Xa Pho minority. After a local lunch you will end your remote hike near the beautiful Muong Bo River and a waiting car for final transfer back to Sapa.
