About this activity
Day 1: Hanoi arrival & visit Hanoi's highlights including the Museum of Ethnology, cyclo tour and Water Puppet Show
Day 2: Continue to explore Hanoi's must-see places, visit local markets, learn about food ingredients and try local foods
Day 3: Travel to Mai Chau, stay at stilt-house of local Thai minority people, 2 hours bicycle ride to through the villages
Day 4: Visit Hang Kia Village of Flower H’mong. Walk around the village and see local daily life of local people
Day 5: Visit more villages and afternoon travel from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh
Day 6: A day to take rowing boat ride on Tam Coc canal and bike ride between amazing mountains, rice fields, climb to Bich Dong Pagoda
Day 7: Transfer from Ninh Binh to Ha Long Bay, check in your cruise and explore the bay. Full board meals and overnight on boat
Day 8: Cruising through the bay back to the pier with brunch on boat. Travel back to Noi Bai Airport for a flight to Hoi An
Day 9: Take a bike ride to local village where you will learn about wet rice culture, learn how to grow wet rice with water buffalo plough, use agricultural water system, Enjoy riding with water buffalo
Day 10: A free day in Hoi An for relaxing, shopping etc
Day 11: Fly from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City, visit Cu Chi Tunnels
Day 12: Travel to Mekong Delta, take a boat cruise around Cai Be Floating Market. Cycle to visit Kinder Garden. Learn how to make jack fruits leafs cake and cycling around Tan Phong Island to visit the MONKEY bridge which local people use to cross the canals daily and learn how local people cross the bridges. Stop at a local farmer’s house to savour a cup of tea and local specialties of banana candies. You can try plucking the fruits at the host’s garden and talk to him to understand how local farmers take care for their gardens.
Day 13: Free time in Mekong Delta until transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. Visit China town, its bustling streets and Thien Hau Cantonese Temple
