This tour offered so much more than we expected! On our honeymoon, my wife and I sought an experience that wouldn't just show us the island from a bus window, but let us interact with its wonders. This excursion delivered. Our friendly guide, Dreu, picked us up from our hotel promptly, and for over 10 hours taught our small group about life on the island. Even during the longer stretches of driving there was never a dull moment with Dreu. We tasted a variety of spices on a farm, enjoyed fresh lychee, cracked our own macadamia nuts, sampled local coffee, and, of course, visited several waterfalls, and even swam in one (and jumped off the rock just like the photo!). They provided paddle boards, which we had a blast on. Waipio Valley was simply stunning, from afar, and through an intimate drive through the lush neighborhoods at its base. Excellent tour!
The trip to Waipio Valley exceeded my expecrtations! Beautiful flowers, historical details, ecology and geology details. Restroom stops abundant. Akaka Falls beautiful in the light rain. Bring your own rain jacket because the one provided made me sweat! Rainbow Falls from the non-public side was beautiful too!
An amazing trip with Nathaniel, once at Waipio Valley we were met by Douglas, who offered not only a vast amount of history for his home down in the valley, but humor as well. Mahalo!!
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the wonders of Hawaii through the knowledgeable and capable narration of our guide Keith from Wasabi Tours! From a farm to waterfalls to the wonders of the beautiful valley we visited, the tour was very inclusive and was the highlight of our vacation!
Fantastic experience. The tour guides were amazing, would recommend this to everyone, got a lot of history of the areas.
Both tour guides weee amazing. It was well worth the money. I would Never have been able to drive Waipio valley and the information and history were so Rich. I highly Recommend rhis tour.
Our guide Drew as fantastic. His knowledge of the island, water falls, flora and fauna was extensive and he was willing to share. His sense of humour kept us alert. The water falls were beautiful even though the weather was a bit drizzly. The Waipio was also fantastic and we learned a lot while we went through rivers and streams seeing the beauty of it. A must for everyone
Tour Guide Mitch was very knowledgeable and a great guide. The tour was very well worth it.
I loved this tour! Both guides were engaging and knowledgeable and made the experience really enjoyable! The Waipio Valley is a true slice of heaven on earth and should not be missed!
