We enjoyed our luau experience. We tried to hula with the lessons. We loved the pageantry -especially the entrance on the water. The atmosphere was awesome. There was plenty of food and drinks available. Great selection and variety on the menu. You should definitely go to the luau on your vacation. It was fun for all ages!!
The food isn't great, but it isn't bad. I've never been to a luau before, but it was about as good as what I'd expect from a mediocre Vegas buffet. The dancers and MC were amazing -- really made the night. The bar was open, but there was only one bartender and the drinks were bottom shelf. Bud and budlight for beer, the cheapest liquor you could find, and disgusting wine. It met my expectations, but I wouldn't go back. Definitely something you should do at least once in your life, though.
Show was great. Food was good. Drinks at open Bar was very good. Bar closes before show ends, they neglect to inform you before they close.
weather related: bad parking at extra cost then looking to fined where the line-up was no signs , after waiting in line and being sent out side in the rain and given a rain poncho only then told to go back in hotel ot another room that had no signs or people to say where to go .then had to wait about another hour to set up the room only to have the stage so low you couldn't see any of the floor dance work .truely felt like a school production vs something I paid 133.00 for . at the end 1 guy did a fire dance on the front grass of the hotel so everyone in the hotel and street got to watch in the pouring rain dropping things as it was really wet ....food was cold as it took the extra time to reset up lots of confusson on the part of staff setting up ... if I was to do it over would have booked when I got there so I could see what the weather was like first
This luau was very nice even though there were maybe 200 people in attendance. Very well organzied. The food and drinks were very good and the show was enjoyable. I like the history/culture lesson they incorporate into the show. I liked the setting as well - next to a beach with the sun setting.
The staff was super friendly and the show was great. The food was okay, it seemed a bit bland to us but there were many choices to pick from.
We had a large group of 10 with someone who needed handicapped accessiblity. The staff, especially, Uncle Benny, were very helpful and nice. We were able to be seated with no problem. The activities and learning to hula were very fun. The best part were the dancers. They didn't just dance, they interacted with the crowd and made it extremely entertaining. Thanks for making our vacation even more memorable
The performances and food were great! However, it all felt a bit rushed. Some of the performances were on while we were lining up for food - so we missed some. For a buffet, all the food and 'open bar' was packed away rather quickly. It was a good night time activity!
Arrived to a very long line of people down a hallway and waited 15-20 minutes before being seated. After the check-in directed through an offer to purchase a flower lei or a photo opportunity. Then we were directed to a large table and the open bar. We enjoyed the Mai Tai while waiting for the Royal Procession. The show was just OK. I've been to many Lau's with a dance show and this one felt a bit over commercialized. Earlier seating instead of having us standing in a very long line and herded like cattle would have improved my experience.
