About this activity

Check in at the conveniently located Keauhou Small Boat Harbor for a short safety briefing lead by one of the 100% American Red Cross 1st Aid/CPR Trained and Certified Safety Professionals. After check-in, you'll set out down the coast towards Kuamoo Bay, where you will see lava caves and enjoy watching locals and visitors do some fun cliff jumping into the beautiful deep blue waters.

Next, you will head out to sea where you will float peacefully while watching the spectacular Kona sun set on the horizon all the while snacking on sushi. After the sun has set, you'll continue your journey to the bay fronting the Keauhou Sheraton to witness the majestic Manta Rays come to feed on the abundant buffet of phytoplankton that appear with the glow of the underwater dive lights. Slide into the warm pacific ocean and experience the thrill of having giant manta rays gracefully glide and swoop through the crystal clear waters, all within inches of you. Delight in 45 exhilarating minutes of swimming with Mantas. Ride-along without snorkeling is also an option.

Finally, warm up with some green tea and enjoy the short, easy boat ride back to Keauhou Small Boat Harbor.

Wonderful experience - it was a rough seas night but it was so awesome and Bambi and staff made it so outstanding!

Boat was a little small, good thing we were only two people, however, the staff which were delightful and the small added touches made the experience. We saw 3 mantas that were so close you could kiss them if it was allowed. Beautiful underwater ballet.
